The brand produces futuristic creations that allow for self-expression and imagination, while also taking a full-circle approach to offsetting the environmental and social cost of its products. Using recycled gold from electronic waste and handmade by Turkish artisans, ISTINARA's 14-karat jewelry designs are sold exclusively through its e-commerce site and come with an NFT for avatars in the Metaverse. The brand's partnership with the Illumine Initiative has launched a National E-waste Collection Network in Jordan to reduce the negative impact of electronic waste, making ISTINARA a socially and environmentally responsible brand.

ISTINARA is committed to sustainability and responsible production by introducing a full-circle approach to offset the environmental and social cost of its products.

 

The brand's 14-karat jewellery designs are produced using gold recycled from electronic waste (e-waste) and are handmade by independent Turkish artisans in Istanbul. The brand's dragonfly logo is a symbol of transformation that hints at the e-waste-to-gold circular model of the brand and the global transition into the Metaverse.

ISTINARA sells its products exclusively through its e-commerce site, ISTINARA.store, where every piece of jewellery comes with a non-fungible token (NFT).

 

Avatars in the Metaverse are presented with ostentatious and uncanny conceptions of their respective physical products. ISTINARA will also be launching an exclusive NFT capsule collection that includes Avatar masks and accessories designed by Begum Aydinoglu, a Meta-Architect and founder of SENSORY.

As an extension of its environmental responsibility, ISTINARA's mother company, the Illumine Initiative (TII), has launched a National E-waste Collection Network in Jordan. E-waste is directly collected from private and public entities, reducing the negative impact of what is now considered the fastest-growing waste problem in the world. E-waste is any discarded electronic or electrical device that is growing at an exponential rate due to technological advancements and dependencies such as mobile phones, computers, and servers, which are the building blocks needed to support the Metaverse.
